The Global Fund Community Systems Strengthening under Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH) as a potential Sub-recipient (SR) with the Ministry of Health/ Ghana Health Service/ National AIDS and STIs Control Program (NACP) as the Principal Recipient is soliciting applications from suitable and highly qualified individuals to fill the following position: Team Lead
The post holders will be responsible for the implementation of the Grant Cycle 7 under GCNH.
Please note that this recruitment is contingent upon the award of the Global Fund GC7 grant to GCNH as SR.
Position details
Title: Team Lead
Project: Global Fund Community Systems Strengthening – GCNH
Duty station: Accra
Duration: 12 months initially, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and fund availability
Supervisor: Chairman of GCNH/ Board of GCNH
Reports to: Board of GCNH
Responsibilities for the Team Lead
- Provide leadership for the staff members working on the Global Fund GC7 under the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health, ensuring clarity of plans and priorities, encouraging effective teamwork.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with project partners: National programmes, relevant government ministries and agencies, community cadres, CSO networks, donors, other GC7 implementing organizations.
- Providing technical support for the development and implementation of national health strategy as it applies to the fight against HIV and aligns to the GC7 grant implementation.
- Strengthening the capacities for implementing partners, cadres and Community based organizations who will be working with the Health Coalition.
- Ensure and participate in project monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- In collaboration with key project staff, review, analyze and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of projects and make recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the organization to external entities at CCM, and other professional meetings and conferences.
- Regularly assess the progress of the project goal and team performance and monitor the progress and ensure that the milestones are met
- Facilitate project communication, collaborate with project team members and report to the Board on project milestones.
- Perform other related duties as required.
