Skills:

  •  Master’s Degree (or equivalent) or bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other related disciplines, with a minimum of 5 years (with master’s) or 8 years (with bachelor’s) of relevant experience.;
  •  5+ years’ relevant experience in the communications field (e.g. journalism, digital media, film, and/or other related narrative or strategic communications), including digital and multi-media publication experience;
  •  Writing and editing skills, with an excellent command of English and an ability to convey complex ideas in a creative, clear, and lively style.;
  •  Proficient in working with content management systems, Drupal, and other online presentation tools;
  •  Experience in creating multimedia and interactive content (such as slideshows, videos, data visualization, and timelines);

Task Description: The Communications Officer will:

  •  Work with cross functional teams to develop and produce engaging content for the website and social media as required, and update platforms in line with branding guidelines.
  •  Support management of the CIF website and social media platforms
  •  Coordinate and support delivery of social media plans and campaigns for the 15th anniversary of CIF
  •  Work cross-functionally to gather compelling narratives that promote and amplify the impact, innovation and influence of CIF’s work
  •  Coordinate and collaborate with the wider CIF team in relation to the development of collateral to communicate the narratives
  •  Coordinate and manage communication deliverables for the 15th anniversary events and publications
  •  Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement efforts; develop and maintain communications, audience, and impact tracking
