Position : Software Developer – Remote
Amazing Properties Wisconsin LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer with strong expertise in Web Scraping to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automated data collection tools, extracting structured data from a variety of websites, and supporting our property management operations with real-time information.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust web scraping scripts and tools
- Scrape and extract data from real estate and property listing platforms such as Crexi, Zillow, LoopNet, and similar
- Extract, clean, and store data in structured formats (JSON, CSV, database)
- Monitor scraping jobs and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy and uptime
- Implement strategies to handle anti-bot mechanisms, captchas, and IP blocking
- Ensure scraping methods comply with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with the team to define data needs and meet business objectives

Requirements
- Proven experience in web scraping using Python (libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Requests, etc.)
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM structures
- Familiarity with rotating proxies, headless browsers, and bypassing bot detection
- Experience with data storage formats and databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Effective communication skills in English
