Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify leads within the industrial laboratory sector through market research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including laboratory managers, researchers, and procurement professionals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our technical equipment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals tailored to the specific needs of each prospect.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers, including training, troubleshooting, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to effectively position our products in the market.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network with potential customers and promote our brand.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, chemistry, or Industrial Laboratory Technology
  • 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the industrial equipment and reagent sector.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
