Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify leads within the industrial laboratory sector through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including laboratory managers, researchers, and procurement professionals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our technical equipment.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional materials.
- Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals tailored to the specific needs of each prospect.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, including training, troubleshooting, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to effectively position our products in the market.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network with potential customers and promote our brand.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, chemistry, or Industrial Laboratory Technology
- 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the industrial equipment and reagent sector.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
