Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy to stablish and maintain deep business relationships to make
- Our products available in every minor, medium and major supermarket outlet in Accra.
- Recruit, train and manage a team of traffic-light street sellers to sell effectively to meet daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Finding ways to achieve growth and hit sales targets set out by you and your team.
- Successfully manage a team, and train new recruits.
- Implement sales plans that can expand the company’s customer base.
- Build strong relationships with through partnerships.
- Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period & Selling Event while effectively implementing our pricing strategies for profit maximization.
- Work cross functionally to effectively manage execution of all assigned sales objectives
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and targets.
- Work within budget guidelines to build sales and meet profitability goals.
- Track sales performance against objectives and inform management of results.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit with Age between 25 – 36
- 3-5 years overall working experience in Sales, Distribution, Marketing or other related roles.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales, sales strategy, sales planning, or sales category management.
- Direct experience in selling FMCG particularly in the packaged food and snacks category of at least 3-5 years in a field sales capacity, including a top-to-top buyer partnership.
- A proven track record of growing top and bottom-line growth in the packaged food and snacks category.
- Must be willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Action oriented with a can-do, positive attitude inspiring other around to adopt a winning attitude.
- Self-motivated, goal driven and willing to start at the ground floor and scale.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); verbal command over English and Twi languages with strong analytical and tactical skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with demonstrated mastery of using PowerPoint to create effective sales presentations as well as for data analysis.
- Deep understanding of pricing model and cross-channel interaction/risk mitigation.
- Strong and demonstrated negotiation skills and training.
