Python Developer At Hyqoo

We are seeking a Python Developer to work on exciting client-facing projects.

You will be responsible for: 

Work both individually and in a team setting to design, code, and maintain custom ETL systems to support our global analytics platform

• Interact with a variety of colleagues to help research and improve data quality and to strategize about new opportunities to leverage data that will help further our mission as the world’s largest and most innovative book publisher
• Provide collaborative leadership in a team setting, as you share your knowledge of data warehousing and the AWS cloud platform to help propose new strategies and improvements
• Additional opportunities to build solutions that span the AWS/Snowflake and Azure/Power BI environments

• 4+ years’ experience as software engineer or similar role
• 4+ years’ of experience with Python
• 3+ years’ hands on experience with Django, Flask
• 4+ years hands on experience with debugging and troubleshoot application
• 3+ years’ experience with databases table design
• 3+ years hands on experience writing shell scripts *nix
• 3+ experience with application build and deployment
• Experience in deployment applications in Nginx/any other web server
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, SaltStack/Chef/Ansible, Git)
• Experience with Queue Messaging (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka)
• Experience with NoSql databases (Cassandra/MongoDB/ScyllaDB)
