Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project.
  • Review and approve time sheets for work related to a project
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Liaising with and responding to auditor queries regarding projects
  • Produce project financial analysis as required by the project team to assist decision-making
  • Track in coordination with project managers, all commitments, purchases, and outstanding project expenses.
  • Assists in preparation of project budgets.
  • Conducts analysis and reports on deviation from project budget parameters
  • Perform analysis of the project draw requests and cash flows by subcontractor
  • Review payables postings to ensure accuracy of accounting
  • Review Project Manager-prepared job cost reports for accuracy
  • Prepare project cash flow forecasts, updating monthly for changes in estimates and schedules based on information provided by other functional teams
  • Assists as necessary with routine general ledger close and account reconciliation functions
  • Keeping a record of project expenses, contracts, and other accounting data
  • Track unbilled supplies and works for accrual and invoicing
  • Facilitate all outgoing checks, including writing, printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary
  • Overseeing the transfer of funds to various vendors and suppliers
  • Manage disbursement of petty cash

  • Qualification Required: Professional/Degree
  • Years of Experience: 3-4
