The Opportunity
Veolia is currently on the lookout for a talented Field Technician to join our Ti Tree Landfill Operation team within Resource Recovery.
Reporting to the Field Supervisor, this position will supervise and oversee the gas infrastructure installation and removal process. As a Field Technician you will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting gas and leachate systems.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Manage the installation and removal of gas and leachate systems and provide general assistance with compressed air/pipelines.
- Complete scheduled work as instructed, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicating with the Leading Hand prior to commencement of work to ensure work instructions are clear and work location is confirmed.
- Comply with Veolia’s Health, Safety and Environment procedures and standards.
- Assist with the general maintenance of site
What you’ll need to be successful
- Prior background and experience in sewer systems and plumbing or completion of a trade apprenticeship
- Understanding of P&G Act Petroleum & Gas Act (desirable)
- Heavy Rigid Licence (desirable)
- Collaborate effectively within a team and promote a safety first culture
