Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and illustrations using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Assist engineers in developing and refining designs.
- Conduct research and gather data to support the design process.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications and bills of materials.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Assist with creating 3D models or prototypes.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering technology, mechanical engineering, or architectural drafting (or a high school diploma with relevant experience and training).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
