This role will be telephone based dealing with mostly incoming telephone enquiries. Your duties will involve offering our customers a complete customer care package. This will cover a wide range of subjects in connection with our customers’ insurance with the emphasis on helping customers with their policy enquiries.
Customer Service Clerk: £20,000 – £23,000
Potential salary of £26,000 – £29,000 including basic, overtime and bonuses for established customer service staff.
Bonuses: up to £250 per month subject to performance

We’re looking for people who enjoy interacting with a variety of different people, and are comfortable doing so over the phone. You’ll need to be a motivated, committed and reliable individual who thrives on going the extra mile for customers.
Successful applicants must have a grade 3/D in English and Maths, be customer focused and able to work in a high paced, versatile and dynamic team. Previous customer service experience is not required, but a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential.

These may include discussions about outstanding paperwork or payments, processing the many changes customers may wish to make to their policies, cancellation requests and also dealing with any general enquiries they may have. Successful candidates will receive full training on our range of products, how best to meet our customers’ requirements and how to use the computer system.

Weekends are optional but we are open between 9am to 2pm on Saturday.

If you work hard, have the right attitude and apply yourself in the correct manner, progression up to the top grades or into management can be achieved relatively quickly – in fact 24 months is currently our record!
