About the role:
As a Process Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Process Automation solutions across the IT Engineering Sys and Ops Section and wider organisation.
This includes identifying repetitive tasks, developing scripts or workflows to automate them, integrating different systems and tools to enhance efficiency, and continuously improving automation processes to reduce manual intervention, minimise errors, and increase overall productivity. Additionally, the IT Process Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that automated solutions align with business objectives and IT best practices.
Duties:
- Work closely with the teams within the IT Engineering Sys and Ops Section to understand their business requirements and design customised solutions.
- Develop and implement solutions that extend and enhance the functionality of Azure and ServiceNow
- Provide technical guidance on best practices and recommend optimal solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions implemented.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team
