About C-WASH:
We are looking for a professional with substantial experience in conducting technical feasibility studies, and designing, and supervising rural and small-town piped water supply systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Supply Engineer at C-WASH, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting technical feasibility studies for water supply projects.
Designing and overseeing the construction of community-based piped water supply systems, including the rehabilitation of existing systems.
Ensuring compliance with design codes, standards, regulations, and engineering best practices related to piped water supply systems.
Managing construction procedures, materials, and project management with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders and engaging with the community to ensure project success.
Utilizing engineering design software proficiently for water systems.
Working strategically to achieve results through deliberate planning, alignment, and execution.
Producing high-quality project reports to communicate progress and outcomes effectively.
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants should possess one of the following educational qualifications:
Technical, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Water and Sanitation, or other relevant disciplines.
Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate should have the following skills and competencies:
Familiarity with design codes, standards, regulations, and engineering practices applicable to piped water supply systems.
A deep understanding of construction procedures and project management principles with a strong attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
Proficiency in engineering design software for water systems.
Ability to work efficiently to achieve results through careful planning and execution.
Excellent report writing skills.
