OVERVIEW



DML is a market leader in dredging and has a sizable presence in Marine and Civil Construction. Dredging services cover urban dredging and environmental dredging, dredging of dams, rivers and lagoons, maintenance dredging of ports and harbors. Marine construction activities involve beach nourishments, coastal defense and coastal protection measures. Company is also active in urban drainage and drain construction. Dredge Masters Limited (DML) is an ISO certified company with certification in   Quality ISO 9001:2015, occupational health and safety ISO 45001:2018 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 standards from Bureau Veritas. DML is known for quality and high operational excellence and adheres to sustainable development goals (SDG’s)

JOB PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for the efficient management of the company’s social media platforms, graphics and product design and communications. Other duties will also include performing market research, strategizing with other marketing professionals and creating content to aid in the success of marketing campaigns.

REPORTS TO : DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
  • Compare the company’s advertising techniques and offerings with those of competing businesses.
  • Help maintain a profitable message for the company
  • Keep an eye on data that shows changing trends in advertising consumption and ensure that potential clients and consumers view company’s advertisement projects.
  • Decide on appropriate placement of advertisement
  • Determine appropriate content for clients
  • Develop projects to create content
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Implement email marketing campaign
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Monitor project status and budget
  • Conduct Market research to inform campaigns

QUALIFICATION

  • Education: Degree in Graphic design, Communication, Marketing or Computer Science
  • Technical skills: Should be Tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus on business development.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google AdWords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking Excellent
