Position : Transport Programm Assistant – Cotonou (Benin)
We are looking for a Transport Programm Assistant.Under the authority of the Head of Transport Program Management, the Transport Program Assistant supports their supervisor in implementing activities related to the transportprogram.
Responsibilities :
Assist in the implementation of all department activities.
- Participate in data collection under the supervision of the department head.
- Prepare and oversee missions related to program and project activities and draft corresponding reports.
- Collaborate with the department head to plan and execute monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Participate in capacity-building activities for personnel involved in transport operations at border crossings.
- Track performance indicators related to the department’s activities.
Required profile for job ad : Transport Programm Assistant – Cotonou (Benin)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in Transport Logistics or International Transport.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in transport-related programs and projects.
Skills :
- Knowledge of issues related to the movement of people and goods along the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor.
- Ability to design and implement initiatives, delegate tasks, and draft reports.
- Strong team management skills.
- Initiative and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
- Strong priority management, listening, and discretion.
- Fluent in French
