Position : Transport Officer – Greater Accra
We are looking for a Transport Officer.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure secure and efficient transportation of personnel and cargo to designated destinations
- Maintain company vehicles in good working condition, ensuring regular cleaning and servicing.
- Plan and execute routes efficiently, considering traffic and road conditions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for passengers.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or concerns.
Required profile for job ad : Transport Officer – Greater Accra
- Valid driver’s license B with a clean driving record.
- 7-10 years experience in driving.
- Must be familiar with Accra’s neighborhood and districts and also be able to navigate Accra with ease.
- Must be proficient in driving 4X4 vehicles.
- Proven experience as a company driver or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of roads and traffic patterns
- Strong safety record and adherence to defensive driving techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
