Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations of GreenGate Foods, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The role ensures the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing costs, reducing waste, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate demand forecasting, production planning, and supply planning activities.
• Ensure alignment between procurement, production, and distribution schedules.

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Implement efficient inventory control systems to minimize wastage and stockouts.
• Coordinate warehouse operations for proper storage and handling of materials and finished goods.

Logistics & Distribution

• Manage transportation and distribution of finished products to customers and distributors.
• Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Work closely with transport providers and internal logistics teams.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Identify inefficiencies within the supply chain and implement improvement initiatives.
• Introduce best practices to reduce costs, improve service levels, and enhance productivity.
• Support automation and digitalization of supply chain processes where applicable.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Track and analyze supply chain KPIs such as cost, efficiency, and service levels.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on supply chain performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
