Research Assistant At Environment For Development (EFD)-GHANA

Position : Research AssistantAs a research-focused organisation that is engaged in high-quality policy-relevant research, capacity building, and policy advocacy, we seek a candidate who can contribute impactfully to Ghana’s efforts to address environmental and natural resource management challenges and build a sustainable future for all.

If hired, the candidate will be responsible for data analysis, data management, fieldwork, and writing research reports within the broader environmental and natural resource economics field.

The specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Compiling and analysing quantitative data using Stata software
• Conducting a comprehensive literature review
• Developing and administering survey instruments
• Monitoring fieldworkers remotely
• Drafting research manuscripts
• Drafting research reports and presentations
• Creating and maintaining databases

Required profile for job ad : Research AssistantWe are looking to hire a highly motivated individual with the following qualifications:

• Has a Master’s degree in economics or a related field (preferably a recent graduate)
•  Proficient in Stata software and data management.
• Basic programming skills (be able to program survey instruments)
• Appreciable level of quantitative skills.
•  Fieldwork experience (collected data for a reputable organization)
• No additional work experience is required.
