Position : Primary School Supervisor – Accra
We seek an experienced and passionate Primary School Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the academic and administrative aspects of the primary school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and promoting a positive school culture.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and support primary school teachers to ensure effective lesson planning, delivery, and assessment
- Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to address these needs
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and curriculum materials
- Conduct regular classroom observations, provide constructive feedback, and support teacher professional development
- Ensure compliance with Cambridge curriculum requirements and school policies
- Manage and coordinate school events, activities, and projects
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues to promote a positive school community
- Analyze student data and make informed decisions to improve academic outcomes
- Teach classes as assigned, with a focus on demonstrating exceptional teaching practices, particularly in English
- Model and promote best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School/Principal
Required profile for job ad : Primary School Supervisor – Accra
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an international primary school setting using the Cambridge curriculum
- Proven track record of excellent teaching and learning outcomes, particularly in English
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
- Ability to teach all core primary subjects with a speciality in English
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment and evaluation procedures
- Passion for education and commitment to student-centered learning
