Job Description
A Pharmacy Manager oversees the daily operations of a pharmacy, ensuring that medicines are dispensed safely, customers receive excellent service, staff perform effectively, and the pharmacy complies with professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory, pricing, merchandising, and workflow coordination.
• Supervise and develop pharmacy staff by providing coaching, training, performance guidance, and work scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council requirements, applicable laws, professional standards, and company policies.
• Monitor stock and medicines by managing procurement, storage, expiry checks, stock counts, and loss prevention.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Work with management and HR on recruitment, staff retention, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Track branch performance through sales, profitability, service quality, and operational reports.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, patient safety, and business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medicines, transactions, and other required documentation.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities to improve sales, customer loyalty, and pharmacy performance.
