Position : Operations Manager – Accra
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across all departments. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring smooth supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support the organization’s mission and goals.
- Oversee supply chain, logistics, and warehousing operations to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and statutory requirements.
- Supervise maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities with proper preventative maintenance plans.
- Oversee IT operations, ensuring optimal performance of all hardware, software, and network systems.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams — including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance — to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and manage CAPAs to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical distribution or related industry.
- Strong understanding of QMS, GDP, and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, Pharmacy Council, HeFRA).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
