Position : Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Remote
Job Summary
- Therapist In Africa is recruiting qualified Remote Mental Health Practitioners to provide professional virtual mental health services to clients across Nigeria.
- Successful candidates will work on a contract basis, delivering scheduled counselling, therapy, psychological, psychiatric or related mental health services according to their qualifications and areas of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct confidential virtual sessions with assigned clients.
- Assess clients’ needs and provide appropriate professional support.
- Manage appointments and maintain professional communication.
- Keep relevant records while protecting client confidentiality.
- Follow professional, ethical and safeguarding standards.
- Make appropriate referrals when clients require additional care.

Applicants should have:
- A relevant degree or recognised professional qualification in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy, social work or a related mental health field
- A valid professional licence, registration, certification or recognised professional designation
- Relevant training in providing counselling or psychotherapy services
- Knowledge of professional ethics, confidentiality and client care
- The ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Fluency in at least one language used for providing therapy
- Access to the appropriate facilities or technology required to provide their services
