Job Role
• To provide support for the acquisition, best use or disposal of lands of the Trust with the view to maximizing its investment potential.
Responsibilities
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database / register of lands / land banks
• Liaise with the Estate Officer in the various regions in respect of issues relating to the lands
• Conduct periodic inspection of lands and report on their status
• Provide input and follow up on perfecting titles / interest to lands / land banks which involves liaising with the land sector agencies (i.e Land Valuation Board, Lands commission, office of the Administrator of stool lands, land title registry, etc)
• Provide inputs for recommending the best use / disposal of any piece of land
• Provide support in the procurement of consultants (land surveyors) to undertake demarcation and pillaring works of lands and supervising the works during execution
• Participate in the evaluation for the acquisition of lands for development projects
• Provide support in the inspection and preparation of reports in respect of staff Mortgage Loans within the Accra Metropolis (for projects yet to take off and uncompleted ones)
• Participate in the preparation of Tender reports for management
• Attend site inspections and meetings
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc Land Economy OR Diploma in Estate Management
Work Experience
• BSc. Land Economy with a minimum of 3 years work experience OR
• Diploma in Estate Management with 6 years work experience
Professional Qualification
• Must be a member of the Ghana institution of Surveyors
