A reputable logistics company is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Trailer Truck Driver based in and around Accra, Ghana, with 4 – 5+ years of proven experience operating trailer trucks. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities
•Operate trailer trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to all road and company regulations
•Transport goods securely, ensuring proper loading and handling to designated locations
•Maintain accurate delivery records
•Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the operations team
•Communicate effectively with clients, logistics team and management regarding schedules, delays or route challenges
•Follow all safety protocols, including defensive driving practices
•Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle
Qualification Required & Experience
•Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience driving trailer trucks (mandatory).
•Must live in and around Accra, Ghana or be willing to relocate
•Valid Ghanaian driver’s license, Class F for heavy-duty vehicles
•Proven track record of safe driving with no major accidents in the last 3 years
•Ability to handle long hours on the road and meet delivery deadlines
•Good communication and record-keeping skills
•High level of reliability, honesty, discipline and professionalism
