Ghana Railway Development Authority is seeking to recruit Electrical Engineering Officer (1 Position).
Job Summary
•To supervise maintenance teams of diesel-electric locomotive operations for safety and efficiency
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel-electric locomotives.
•Plan, coordinate and monitor diagnosis and repair of electrical, electronic, traction, and control system faults
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance procedures and operational standards
•Coordinate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to improve fleet performance and minimize downtime
Qualification Required & Experience
•Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•Minimum of 4 years industrial experience in locomotive or power system maintenance
•Good understanding of railway maintenance procedures, electrical safety standards and workplace safety regulations
