Job Description
•Manage all institutional finances including fee collection, payroll, supplier payments and budget monitoring across all departments.
•Produce monthly management accounts, quarterly financial reports for the Governing council and annual accounts for external audit.
•Manage the relationship with external auditors and ensure production of audited financial statements within 90 days of each financial year end.
•Oversee procurement, contracts, facilities management and all administrative operations of the institution
•Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority tax obligations, SSNIT and all statutory financial reporting requirements.
Qualification Required & Experience
•Full professional accounting qualification institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana(ICAG), ACCA, CIMA or internationally recognised equivalent is mandatory
•Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is desirable an undergraduate degree in a related field is the minimum academic requirement.
•Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role in an institutional, non-profit or public sector context.
•Demonstrated experience managing grant income, donor reporting and restricted fund accounting alongside operational institutional finance.
•Strong working knowledge of Ghana revenue authority tax obligations, SSNIT regulations, the Financial Administration Act, and Ghanaian financial reporting standards.
