We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 5+ years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal
candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting systems, and the ability to work
effectively as part of a team.
Job Title: Accountant
Reports To: Head of Finance
Location: Cantonment, Accra
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and process accounting transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes using the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file statutory returns on time.
• Collaborate with the payroll team and support bank account management.
• Contribute to audits and implement cost-saving measures to support team goals.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Leveraging ERP software to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
• Assist in treasury operations and relationships with banks to ensure seamless banking operations.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA/CA chartered or Final Level.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• IFRS knowledge preferred
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with the MS Office Suite.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
