The Insurance Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products to individuals, families, and businesses. The successful candidate will identify potential clients, develop strong customer relationships, explain insurance policies, and achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, referrals, networking, field visits, and other sales activities.
• Promote and sell insurance products, including life, health and other relevant insurance policies.
• Explain insurance products, policy benefits, premiums, terms, and conditions to prospective clients.
• Assess customers’ insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options.
• Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into active policyholders.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Assist clients with policy applications, renewals, and other insurance-related enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client information, and policy transactions.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on sales performance to management.
• Keep up to date with insurance products, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and applicable insurance regulations.
