Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the company’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide HR support and guidance to management and employees.
- Maintain and record accurate employee records.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.
- Coordinate learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Responsible for the development and update of company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for implementing a Performance management system.
- Responsible for ensuring the office is organized and well-maintained.
- Responsible for booking and coordinating staff travel.
- Organize and supervise other office activities (staff meetings/events, client programs, etc.)
- Supervise the Front desk Receptionist and oversee facility management.
- Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in preparing routine reports and communications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field.
- Six to eight years of human resources and administration experience.
- Previous experience in using an HR management software system a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of Ghana labor law.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- HR Certification a plus.
