Spectrum Search is delighted to be recruiting for a leading-edge web3 software development company for a Head of Engineering. They are building a new generation of decentralised solutions, working through some of the most interesting technical problems in the field such as data privacy, identity and wallet management, smart contract design, advanced cryptography and data security.
Where is it & why are they looking for a Head of Engineering ?
- The role is hybrid in either one of their 2 great main office locations, London or Porto.
- The role involves leading and managing our engineering team, driving the technical strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of our software solutions.
- You will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s technological direction, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation.
What will you be doing?
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers, promoting their growth and development.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring business goals and objectives are aligned.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and prioritise engineering initiatives.
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices, processes, and standards.
Required profile for job ad : Head of EngineeringWhat experience are we looking for?
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a fintech organization with a rapidly expanding team and customer base.
- Strong technical background with expertise in blockchain technology and decentralized solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy, identity management, smart contract design, advanced cryptography, and data security.
- Experience as a hands-on software engineer on a large-scale project
- Experience at a blockchain company
- Exeprience with Javascript projects
