We are looking for a General Manager.
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the manufacturing company, ensuring the company achieves its strategic objectives, maintains financial health, and drives business growth. The GM will lead teams across production, sales, marketing, logistics, and finance, ensuring smooth coordination and efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG, particularly cosmetics or personal care products, with expertise in operations management, sales strategies, and product development.
Responsibilities :
Business Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify market trends, new product opportunities, and expansion strategies.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, suppliers, and retailers.

Sales & Marketing Management

• Oversee sales performance and drive revenue growth through innovative marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with the sales team to expand distribution channels and improve market penetration.
• Ensure brand positioning aligns with consumer needs and trends in Ghana and markets where the company has a presence.

Operations & Supply Chain Management

• Supervise manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure high efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Optimize supply chain processes, ensuring timely product availability while managing costs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards for cosmetics manufacturing.

Financial Performance & Budgeting

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, making data-driven decisions.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with corporate governance.

Product Development & Innovation

• Lead the R&D and product development teams to launch new products based on consumer trends.
• Ensure quality control and maintain the companies reputation for high-quality, affordable products.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Provide mentorship and training opportunities for staff development.
• Implement performance management systems to evaluate and reward employees effectively.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet FDA, environmental, and safety regulations in Ghana and export markets.
• Oversee legal and compliance matters, ensuring risk management protocols are in place.
