We are looking for Food Processor General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the food processing plant, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production.
• Monitor production schedules, workflows, and inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate processing of food products.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product consistency and adherence to company standards.
• Manage production, processing, packaging, and distribution to meet customer demand.
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
• Lead, train, and supervise staff at all levels, including production workers, supervisors, and department managers.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring clear communication across departments.
• Conduct performance reviews, offer guidance, and develop training programs for employee growth.
• Address staffing needs, conduct interviews, and assist with the recruitment of new team members.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
• Develop and manage budgets for the processing plant, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Monitor cost efficiency and make recommendations for improving profitability.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory management of raw materials and equipment to control costs.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations (e.g., FDA) and health standards.
• Oversee the implementation of food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs, etc.) and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct regular safety audits and address any safety or regulatory concerns within the facility.
Product Development and Innovation:
• Work with the R&D team to develop new products or improve existing ones based on market trends and customer feedback.
• Monitor consumer preferences and industry trends to drive continuous product innovation and process improvement.
Customer Relations and Quality Assurance:
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and clients, ensuring satisfaction with the quality and delivery of products.
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues related to product quality or delivery.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to meet customer demands and grow the business.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and submit regular reports to upper management regarding production, financial performance, quality control, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records related to production data, inventory, safety incidents, and quality inspections.
