Position : Finance Manager – Accra
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to align with company goals.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage the company’s financial performance against the budget.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and financial accountability.
- Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure the company’s financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with the CFO and executive team to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and suppliers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
