Job Description/Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare, File, and pay all necessary taxes on or before the Statutory deadline.
2. Assist with Tax Presentation to GRA for full audit or desk audit purposes.
3. To collect all Withholding Tax Certificates from our Clients.
4. Prepare Budget Estimation and Reconcile all our Accounts.
5. General Management Financial Reporting.
6. Prepare Schedules and payments of income tax and SSNIT Contributions monthly.
7. BOS / ORDER / WAYBILL Documentation and Deposing of Cheques and Transfers and assist in all Bank Transactions.
8. Issue debit notes or advice for clients on payments of debts and filing annual returns.
9. To make follow-ups on payments of invoices by clients.
10. Generate reports on payments and debit lists.
11. Assist with debt collection or recovery by following up on outstanding payments.
12. And all other duties that shall be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A minimum of First Degree in Accounting or Finance Equivalent Qualification.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Finance Officer.
2. Ability to work autonomously / independently or with little supervision.
3. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Excel and other accounting software.
4. Must be conversant in regulatory requirements with a good understanding of the Taxation Act of the Republic of Ghana.
5. Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with leadership abilities.
6. Must demonstrate strong work ethics and be able to communicate courteously with co-workers and clients.
7. Ability to work under pressure.
8. Confidential and results-oriented.
9. Transparent with reporting.
10. Proactive and able to take initiative.
