Purpose of the role:
To produce fabrication drawings for the Metal or Joinery workshop
Key responsibilities and specific accountabilities:
- To produce fabrication drawings for the Metal and Joinery workshop
- To read and crate 3D models from TWD and converting them into the required format,
- To file information / fabrication drawings in the correct locations
- To create programs for the CNC machines
- To communicate with customers / managers effectively to create a time scale
- To communicate with customers / managers efficiently to solve problems in the information supplied
- Visiting the joinery workshop to improve on construction of shutters and boxouts from the CNC
Key Skills & Competencies
- Autodesk Inventor – 3D modelling and drawings
- Autodesk Autocad
- Navisworks Simulate •Autodesk Revit
- Fabrication workshop experience including knowledge of equipment being used in workshop
- Health & Safety at work knowledge
- Good communicator both written and oral
- I.T Skills – MS Office package
- Working under strict timelines
- Time Management – Productivity and Planned works
- Attention to detail
- Team player
Additional Information:
All positions with Bylor are employed directly with either Laing O’Rourke or Bouygues Travaux Public and include competitive salaries, private medical insurance, company pension schemes and annual holiday allowance. Some grades will also include a company car allowance.
Unless stated otherwise all positions are based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
