We are looking for a Dispensary Technician.
Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide patient counselling on the safe and effective use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient drug therapy and provide recommendations for dosage adjustments or alternative medications when appropriate.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation to prevent shortages or expiries.
• Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions and pharmaceutical transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to all pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and safety standards related to the handling and dispensing of medications.
• Participate in staff training sessions and educate hospital personnel on safe medication practices and pharmaceutical protocols.
