Skills Provision is searching for a Construction Director for a services company in Africa.

Position: Permanent

Salary & Benefits

• GHS 105,000 p/a

The Role

• Client liaison and management.
• Responsible for overseeing construction delivery by major contractors.
• Lead the implementation and oversight of the safety program.
• Lead the implementation and oversight of the Sustainability Vision and create a work environment where Sustainability & Innovation initiatives are a daily activity.
• Ownership and implementation of the project vision and, responsible for updating and communicating to the project team and obtaining management, support, and approval
• Accountable for the project financial operating performance, including occupancy, operating expenses, net operating income.
• Responsible for overseeing year planning, and all other aspects of the project both financially and technically
• Creation of a working environment where teamwork is a top priority.
• Develop & maintain a communications plan for all project stakeholders and regularly update in conjunction with the project team and the client
• Commercial understanding and administration of the project operating and legal documents.
• Production of project reports including monthly and quarterly reports.

• Degree holder, preferably Masters
• 10 years plus experience in project management
• Other formal qualifications are desirable
• A natural leader that inspires confidence
• An inspirational character
• A strong and demanding persona that sets the bar high for all employees
• Experienced in project management finances
• Excellent at report writing
• Multi-lingual would be desirable
• Strong IT user skills
