Commercial Sales Executive At Echo


To support the Commercial Manager in generating income for the Company through advertising, sponsorship and developing innovative ideas to maximise income generation. To maintain relationships and revenue streams with current commercial partners and to develop new commercial relationships.



To work in the Operations Strategy and Policy Team providing the first point of contact for our commercial customers, existing and potential. To provide administrative support for the Operations services and to act as the point of contact for customers offering advice and assistance whilst providing a professional and courteous service at all times. To improve the customer experience and generate additional income and value of the portfolio using a pro-active sales approach to meet targets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Act as the initial point of contact for all customers contacting Operations by telephone/dedicated email account.
  2. Daily proactive contact of existing customer base and potential customers, maintaining records on ECHO to ensure effective customer relationship management.
  3. Work to specific income targets as set by line manager to meet the needs of the customer and business.
  4. Provide administrative support to the Business Support Manager. Specific tasks to be allocated on a daily basis to meet customer needs and demands.
  5. To take the lead in contact management to provide regular and effective solutions for customer, whilst opportunity spotting to generate income/make recommendations across services. This is face to face or cold calling.
  6. Maintaining accuracy and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  7. Organise meetings, prepare agenda and take minutes for meetings as directed by the Business Support Manager.
  8. Develop and maintain various departmental information systems, e.g. databases, spreadsheets, ensuring that up-to-date information is recorded.

  • A customer focussed individual with excellent negotiating and influencing
    skills.
  • A commercially astute individual.
  •  A resourceful and dynamic approach, open to new ideas and always
    looking for solutions to.
