Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the renovation and maintenance of buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all structures remain in optimal condition while adhering to the highest safety, environmental and quality standards

Reporting: Reports to the Assets Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental protection are prioritized in all maintenance and renovation activities
• Lead and manage building renovation and facility maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections of terminal buildings and facilities, addressing any maintenance needs or structural repairs
• Prepare and review project tenders, evaluate contractor proposals and manage the procurement process
• Oversee the installation of civil works, including setting out, excavations, foundations, concrete works and related installations
• Ensure that all quality requirements, as defined by the Project Policy, are fully implemented and that relevant documentation is properly filled
• Develop and maintain control/follow-up sheets for ongoing projects to track progress and quality

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in building renovations and facility maintenance
• Proven experience in tendering and project execution
• Strong knowledge of structural maintenance and repair techniques
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and familiarity with MS OFfice (Excel, Word, Project)
