The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for maintaining ongoing interaction with Channel Partner Leaders and their teams. You will conduct joint visits, covering all of West / Central Africa (English speaking region) and will actively be involved on the ground in different sales activities, join trade seminars, shows and product demonstrations. This position is located remote in Ghana or Nigeria.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Manage and develop Channel Partner (CP) strategies and day to day related tasks including but not limited to distribution agreement, compliance, credit control, consolidate CPs’ periodical reporting, annual targets, scorecard, RACI, forecasting, funnel management, support marketing initiatives, etc., in cooperation with other functions.
- Define, maintain and refresh CP related process, SOP, using CRM system for customer contacts, activities, funnel management, and project management in addition to training and development plan implementation, to streamline existing CP Network: assess and recruit new partners, terminate existing non-performing CPs.
- Coordinate with Service team to build CPs’ service capability and accelerate implementation with end customers.
- New type of channels’ assessment and cooperation building: 2nd tier channel, Engineering Company, system integrators, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 75%
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience
- 5 years channel management experience in multi-national B2B business
- 3 years’ experience in a water industry sales role
