Position : Business Development Officer – Hybrid

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our apparel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, bidding for contracts and building strong client relationships to drive revenue growth.
This role is best suited for an individual with hands-on experience in government tender bidding, contract acquisition and strategic sales/business development
Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify, source, and secure new business opportunities and contracts within both public and private sectors.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end process of government and corporate tender bidding.
  • Monitor tender portals, procurement notices, and contract opportunities relevant to the apparel industry.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit tender documents, proposals, and bidding requirements accurately and on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions, NGOs, corporate organizations, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market presence and revenue.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution after contract award.

Required profile for job ad : Business Development Officer – Hybrid

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, Sales, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in government tender bidding and procurement processes.
  • Strong network within government agencies, procurement bodies or corporate institutions is an added advantage.
  • Excellent proposal writing, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Business Development Officer, Sales Officer or similar role.
