We are looking for a Banking and Capital Market Consultant.
Responsibilities :

Formulate, review, and implement credit risk management policies, procedures, and risk appetite frameworks for banks and other financial institutions
Evaluate complex credit applications and financial statements to determine borrower creditworthiness and loan pricing for financial institutions
Track the health of the lending portfolio of financial institutions to identify early warning signs of default, concentrations of risk, and non-performing loans.
Build, validate, and maintain credit scorecards and predictive risk models using data analysis tools for financial institutions
Advice financial institutions on lending operations to strictly comply with local banking laws, international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9), and capital adequacy guidelines.
Oversee restructuring plans for distressed loans and coordinate with legal or collections teams for debt recovery
Design innovative financial products and services for banks and other financial institutions

MBA / Masters in Credit Risk, Quantitative Finance or any related field
Professional Membership with Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA
Proven experience in financial analysis, data modeling, or quantitative research within banking or financial services industry.
Strong background in statistical analysis, risk management, and fraud detection techniques.
Proficiency in data mining tools and statistical software; experience with VBA is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models using advanced Excel functions or specialized software.
Familiarity with underwriting processes, credit analysis, and financial report writing.
Knowledge of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and financial acumen is essential.
