Our opportunity
Be responsible for supporting delivery of the strategic asset management services for premium Retail assets for Mirvac. Your primary focus is to support the management of the financial outcomes of your allocated assets to help formulate, recommend and execute asset strategies which aim to maximise the return on assets within acceptable risk parameters.
Your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
- Support the development and delivery of the Strategic Asset Plans for the asset(s)
- Accept accountability for and ensure achievement of the asset strategy with a particular focus on financial performance and reporting
- Assist the Portfolio Manager in evaluating potential leasing deals, capital works, development, acquisition and disposal opportunities for the asset or within the portfolio
- Prepare, implement and monitor annual asset budgets, forecasts and strategies, reporting progress to the Portfolio Manager
- Work collaboratively with the Finance and Asset teams as required to establish, reforecast and monitor progress against annual budgets (P/L), capital expenses, and leasing forecasts
- Be responsible for the accuracy and timely updating of financial models, forecasts, and reporting
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and assist them in the completion of internal and external valuation processes, month/quarter end tasks, reporting (including for JV partners), lease negotiations and acquisition/ disposal strategies in the portfolio
Your point of difference
The successful candidate will have 3 + years previous experience in a similar position in the Property Management Industry and knowledge of the office, industrial and retail sector
A proven understanding of core valuation fundamentals and Property Trusts as well as demonstrated analytical and report writing abilities. Exceptional communication both written and verbal and interpersonal skills. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office
