Position : Agricultural Advisor / Consultant – International
Our Client is seeking experienced and motivated Agricultural Advisors / Consultants to provide remote advisory services across crop production, livestock, agribusiness strategy, and farm management.This role is ideal for professionals who want to apply their expertise beyond traditional field roles, working flexibly while contributing to impactful agricultural transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Advisory
- Provide expert guidance on crop production, soil health, irrigation, and pest management
- Advise on livestock systems, feed optimization, and animal health (where applicable)
- Recommend best practices aligned with local conditions and global standards
2. Agribusiness Support
- Support farmers and agribusinesses in improving profitability and efficiency
- Provide guidance on input planning, cost management, and yield optimization
- Advise on post-harvest handling, storage, and value addition
3. Market-Oriented Advisory
- Help farmers align production with market demand
- Provide insights on pricing trends, buyer requirements, and quality standards
- Support integration into structured supply chains
4. Research & Content Development
- Contribute to development of advisory materials, guides, and training content
- Interpret agricultural research into practical recommendations
- Support project reporting and knowledge sharing
5. Virtual Engagement
- Conduct remote consultations via phone, WhatsApp, or video calls
- Participate in webinars, training sessions, and farmer education programs
- Respond to advisory queries in a timely and professional manner
Required profile for job ad : Agricultural Advisor / Consultant – International
- Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field
- Practical experience in farming systems or agricultural advisory
- Strong understanding of commercial agriculture and market linkages
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working remotely using digital tools
- Experience with NGOs, extension services, or agribusiness projects is an added advantage.
