The Rotary Peace Fellowship is an organization that is created for professionals with work experience in international development, peace, and conflict prevention including resolution. All applicants need to meet the following requirements:


  • Have at least 3 years of related work experience in the master’s program
  • They must have at least five years of related work experience for the certificate program and be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission
  • They must be proficient in English (Master’s candidates whose first language is not English must provide English language standardized test scores.)
  • They must all have at least a bachelor’s degree (Master’s candidates must provide a copy of their transcripts.)
  • They must demonstrate leadership skills
  • They must have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace work in Africa, or with African communities or initiatives outside the continent.

Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (FIPRS)

  • Students that begin their higher degree by research in the previous year but who, due to the timing of their application for admission and subsequent enrolment, won’t be able to apply for a FIPRS in that year, or, start a higher degree by research and terminated that enrolment in six months of commencement, may be considered.


  • You must intend to enroll in an area of research concentration. The areas in which the university has strength have concentrated its research resources and has attracted external funding; and
  • You must meet the entry requirements for a higher degree by research, and English proficiency levels by the English Language Proficiency Requirements for HDR Candidature.
