Position Overview

• As Vice Principal, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Principal with the overall management, administration, and academic and disciplinary issues of the College. Your responsibilities will align with the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and other regulatory provisions, under the guidance of the College’s Governing Council.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and administration of the College.
• Perform functions as assigned by the Principal.
• Act in the absence of the Principal.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Exemplary character and high degree of personal integrity.
• Distinguished master teacher and scholar in Teaching and Learning.
• At least a Principal Tutor in the College of Education.
• Research Master’s degree (PhD in a relevant area is an advantage).
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant post-qualification experience in a senior management position.
• In-depth knowledge of challenges facing Colleges of Education in Ghana and readiness to propose solutions.
• Able to complete at least one three-year term before the mandatory retirement age of 60.
