Job Description
The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project for Public Financial Governance – Phase II (RISPFG) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for
Casino Betting and Gaming Expert.
The services included under this project are:
- Documenting a practical guide on how African tax administrations can review applicable laws, rules, and regulations for taxes in the Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector as will be contained in the various Acts.
- Reviewing and documenting the merits and demerits of having a separate Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector Act.
- Addressing the challenges encountered in auditing of the Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector.
- Providing capacity building in this space which can assist the African tax administrations to understand how the Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector operates.
- Documenting recommendations on applicable auditing standards that are applicable in the Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector.
- Documenting recommendations regarding staffing and resources necessary for African tax administrations to effectively carry out tax administration and collection responsibilities of the Casino, Betting and Gaming Sector.
