We are seeking a seasoned Safety Consultant to join our team for a commercial construction project in Accra, Ghana. The Safety Consultant will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, developing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of construction safety practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement safety policies and protocols.
• Train staff on safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Prepare and present safety reports to management.

• Proven experience as a Safety Consultant or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Ghanaian or international driver’s license.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification as a Safety Consultant or similar role.
• Experience working in Ghana or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in both English and local language.

The daily pay rate depends on the work carried out and can range from 50Ghs – 80 Ghs per day.
