Java Technical Lead
(This role is only open to Brisbane and Gold Coast based candidates who are Australian citizens or PR holders).
Our enterprise client in the financial services space is looking for a Java Technical Lead or a Senior Solutions Designer to join them on a 6 month contract daily rate with possibility of extensions.
Role Overview: As a Senior IT Technical Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of technical solution development and application architecture. Your role will involve collaborating closely with architects and leading development teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate high-level solution designs into detailed technical architectures
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to application development teams
- Lead DevOps initiatives and champion best practices within the team
- Drive the overall delivery of technical solutions within your assigned area
- Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and governance frameworks
Requirements:
- Any experience in technical solution design and application architecture would be highly regarded
- Strong proficiency in Java development and mainframe technologies such as Cobol, PLI, IMS.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Financial or banking industry experience preferred
