Fund Administrator At NAV

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for investment funds. This involves recording all fund transactions, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• NAV Calculation: Responsible for accurately calculating the Net Asset Value (NAV) of investment funds on a regular basis. This involves aggregating and reconciling all fund transactions, including purchases, sales, income, and expenses, to determine the funds total assets and liabilities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepares and distributes financial reports to investors, other users of the report and regulatory authorities. These reports include statements of assets and liabilities, income statements, and other disclosures as required by regulatory standards.
• Fund Operations Oversight: Oversees day-to-day fund operations, including cash management, custody arrangements, and coordination with external service providers such as custodians, transfer agents, and fund managers.
• Investor Servicing: Serves as the primary point of contact for investors, handling inquiries, providing account statements, and processing investor transactions such as contributions and redemptions.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintains positive relationships with fund managers, investors, and other stakeholders, providing responsive and professional service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitors fund activities to ensure compliance with Investment Policy Statement, regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will conduct periodic reviews to identify any discrepancies or potential compliance issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Regulatory Filings: Prepares and submit regulatory filings and disclosures required by relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines and regulatory standards.
• Risk Management: Assesses and manages operational and financial risks associated with fund administration activities. Implements controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity and security of fund operations
• Audit Support: Supports external auditors in conducting audits of investment funds. You will provide audit trails, documentation, and assistance in resolving any audit findings or inquiries.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and software systems to streamline fund administration processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain accurate records and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively seeks opportunities to enhance operational processes, implement best practices, and improve efficiency and effectiveness in fund administration functions.
• Know, understand and accept that, duties and responsibilities may change as the fund evolves with the institution of new policies, processes and structures.
• Know, understand and accept that duties may lead to reasonable overtime
• Varying work schedules, to perform other tasks which are consistent with your knowledge skills and abilities
• Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields from a reputable institution
• Master’s degree is preferred
• Five years’ work and solid industry experience
